Dear Birth Mother

As we are sitting here writing this letter, our sweet daughter Isla (Eye-la) is close by our side, sitting and playing at her table. It brings an overwhelming happiness to know that soon she will get to be a big sister and that we will be growing as a family.  We know this opportunity would not be possible without your generous and giving heart.  We also understand that this huge act of love comes at a great loss to you.  Please know that when we have the newest member of our family, he or she will be welcomed with open arms and hearts.

Adoption has always had a special place in our lives. We have 5 cousins that are adopted, 2 cousins who are adoptive parents. We were raised being able to see what a beautiful process adoption truly is. Our family has always believed that we are the lucky ones to have these children come into our lives and become a part of our family, not the other way around. When we found out that having children wasn't possible, we felt that adoption was the answer for our family. We just knew there was a baby growing in our hearts, and to get her it would take an amazing amount of selflessness and faith of a stranger. We were blessed when Isla came into our lives two years ago,  and she has been the shining star of the family every day since.

We are now hoping that we can count on the generosity from another stranger because our arms are aching for another child.
